POLYTONE AP 108 by Polyols & Polymers is PTBP (Para tertiary butyl phenol) formaldehyde resin (resole). Acts as a heat reactive alkyl phenolic resin formulated for use in the manufacture of contact adhesives/cements based on polychloroprene or other elastomers. Adhesives made from it have excellent heat resistance and light color. It imparts excellent green tack and cohesive strength in rubber based adhesives. It is useful for increasing the storage stability, heat resistance and non-phasing of the adhesive. POLYTONE AP 108 has applications in rubber adhesives, upholstery adhesives, shoe adhesives; leather adhesives, furniture adhesives, automobile/automotive adhesives, adhesives with flexing property, rubber goods, high heat resistant adhesive, high heat resistant resin.
