BNX® 5010 TPR

by Mayzo

Antioxidant and SIS Thermoplastic Rubber Pelletized Blend is a non-discoloring stabilizer. Can be used the in the manufacture of hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesives (HMPSA) using single or twin screw extruders. Provides good long-term heat stability, good compatibility with resins and good extraction resistance.

BNX® 1225 TPR

by Mayzo

BNX® 1225 TPR by Mayzo is 45:55 blend of tetrakis [methylene-3 (3’, 5’-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl), tris (2, 4- di-tert-butyl phenyl) phosphite and styrene-isoprene-styrene thermoplastic rubber. Acts as an antioxidant. This blend of both a primary and secondary antioxidant provides excellent heat stability, good compatibility with resins as well as excellent extraction resistance. Its SIS (styrene-isoprene-styrene) thermoplastic rubber has a styrene content of 14%, diblock content of 12% and a melt index of 9. Compatible with other SIS thermoplastic elastomers such as Quintac® 3620, Kraton D1161P, Kraton D1193, Enichem ST-190, and Vector 4113. Its pellets are durable enough for air conveying due to which does not break-up. Offers increased processing efficiencies such as reduced handling time and minimal screw slippage. Also offers uniform shape and size. BNX® 1225 TPR is used in the manufacture of hot-melt pressure sensitive adhesives (HMPSA) using single or twin-screw extruders. Its feed rate should be 0.4% to 2%.

BNX® 1900

by Mayzo

BNX® 1900 by Mayzo is blend of antioxidants and thermal stablizers that provides good heat stability and antioxidation. Good compatibility with resins and good extraction resistance. It offers low color formation, maintenance of original melt flow and resistant to hydrolysis. Low volatility.

BNX® 565

by Mayzo

2, 6-di-tert-butyl-4-(4, 6-bis(octylthio)-1,3,5-triazin-2-ylamino)phenol. Acts as a multifunctional antioxidant and thermal stabilizer. It is non-staining as well as non-discoloring. Has high molecular weight and low volatility. It is useful for the stabilization of hot melt adhesives (especially those derived from unsaturated elastomers). Its recommended concentration ranges from 0.02 to 1% depending on the substrate, application and conditions of use.

BNX® 2246

by Mayzo

2, 2’-Methylenebis (4-methyl-6-tert-butylphenol). Acts as a sterically hindered phenol antioxidant and thermal stabilizer. It provides effective stabilization in ABS, EVA, polypropylene and polyethylene. BNX® 2246 is an excellent, non-discoloring and non-staining additive which is compatible with a wide variety of systems. Has low volatility and low migration effects. Used in hot-melt as well as natural rubber adhesives.

BNX® 1225

by Mayzo

Blend of antioxidants and thermal stabilizers. Provides good heat stability and antioxidation, good compatibility with resins and good extraction resistance. Offers low color formation, maintenance of original melt flow, improvement of long-term stability and resistance to hydrolysis. Low volatility.

BNX® 1037

by Mayzo

2-methyl-4, 6-bis (dodecylthiomethyl) phenol. Acts as a high performance multifunctional antioxidant. In comparison to conventional antioxidant systems it provides improved color stability as well as superior viscosity stability in hot melt adhesives after heat aging. Also provides more effective prevention of skin formation. The performance of the product can be enhanced by using it in combination with a secondary antioxidant such as Benefos® 1680 or BNX® DLTDP. It can be used in most applications without co-stabilizers due to its unique chemical structure. Used for the stabilization of hot melt adhesives based on unsaturated styrenic copolymers (SIS, SBS, SBR, etc.), solvent-based adhesives, water-based adhesives, unsaturated styrenic copolymers and polyurethanes. Recommended concentration ranges from 0.1 to 1.0%.

BNX® 1076

by Mayzo

Stearyl-3-(3’,5’-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl) propionate. Acts as an organotin-free, sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant and effective, non-discoloring stabilizer. It provides excellent long-term heat stability by preventing thermo-oxidative degradation during processing and service life. It also provides good compatibility with resins and excellent extraction resistance. It is easily incorporated by melting techniques due to its low melting point and offers reduced health and environmental concerns. It enables excellent resistance to extraction, low volatility, improvement of long-term stability and ease of compatibility with other stabilizers. Used in elastomers and hot-melt adhesives. The recommended dosage is 0.2%-1% in hot-melt adhesives. Approved by FDA.

BNX® 1098

by Mayzo

N, N’-hexane-1, 6-diylbis [3-(3, 5-di-tert-butyl-4 hydroxyphenylpropionamide)]. Acts as a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant. It is an efficient, extraction resistant, non-discoloring stabilizer that provides excellent long-term heat stability by preventing thermo-oxidative degradation during processing and service life. It can be used in combination with other secondary antioxidants like Benefos® 1680 to provide enhanced performance. It can also be used synergistically with light stabilizers and UV absorbers. BNX® 1098 is resistant to extraction and has low volatility.

BNX® DSTDP

by Mayzo

Dioctadecyl 3, 3’-thiodipropionate. Acts as a thioether-type antioxidant. Its combination with a hindered phenolic antioxidant such as BNX® 1010 is generally recommended to provide optimal thermal stability. In such combinations it provides superior performance in comparison to the hindered phenolic antioxidants used alone. It is non-discoloring and has low odor as well as volatility. BNX® DSTDP also has good compatibility with polyolefin and styrenic polymers. Its recommended concentration ranges from 0.05 to 1%.
