Benefos® 1626 Phosphite Stabilizer by Mayzo is bis (2, 4-di-tert-butylphenyl) pentaerythritol diphosphite. Acts as an antioxidant. It shows synergism when used with light stabilizers such as benzophenones and benzotriazoles. It shows improvement of long-term stability and maintenance of original melt flow. It prevents discoloration and protects polymers from chain scission and crosslinking. It is useful in polyolefin and olefin copolymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyesters as well as engineering thermoplastics, PVC, elastomers and adhesives. Used in combination with UV absorbers and light stabilizers to provide enhanced performance. Benefos® 1626 Phosphite Stabilizer complies with 21 CFR 178.2010 regulation. 2,4,8,10-Tetraoxa-3,9-diphosphaspiro[5.5]undecane, 3,9-bis(octadecyloxy). Acts as a phosphite-type antioxidant. It is non-discoloring and low-volatility. Recommended loading level ranges between 0.05 and 0.5% depending on the substrate, processing conditions and other performance requirements. Phosphite type Antioxidant that provides good heat stability and antioxidation, with good compatibility with resins and excellent extraction resistance.
Extends performance of primary antioxidants, highly compatible with a wide range of organic substrates, improvement of long-term stability. Low volatility, maintenance of original melt flow, prevents discoloration, protects polymers from chain scission and crosslinking,
resistant to hydrolysis.
