SBR 1006C

by Lion Elastomers

SBR 1006C by Lion Elastomers is a hot crumb, non-crosslinked styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) copolymer. It is produced in free-flowing crumb form (using a fatty acid emulsifier & calcium carbonate as a dusting agent) that eliminates the need for milling, cutting or grinding equipment. The crumb particles retain the porous nature of the coagulated rubber and can be dissolved in a solvent faster than milled or pelletized bale rubber. SBR 1006C shows incompatibility to oxidizing agents and offers high filler loading capacity. This light colored polymer is recommended for general purpose pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) formulations.

SBR 1012C

by Lion Elastomers

SBR 1012C by Lion Elastomers is a hot crumb, non-crosslinked styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) copolymer. It is produced in free-flowing crumb form (using a fatty acid emulsifier & calcium carbonate as a dusting agent) that eliminates the need for milling, cutting or grinding equipment. It imparts increased cohesive strength when added to an adhesive mixture. The crumb particles retain the porous nature of the coagulated rubber and can be dissolved in a solvent faster than milled or pelletized bale rubber. SBR 1012C shows incompatibility to oxidizing agents, exhibits high Mooney viscosity & solution viscosity and offers higher cohesive strength. Suitable for use in tape and general purpose adhesive and sealant formulations.

SBR 4503C

by Lion Elastomers

SBR 4503C by Lion Elastomers is a highly crosslinked, hot styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) terpolymer. It is produced in free-flowing crumb form (using a rosin acid emulsifier & calcium carbonate as a dusting agent) that eliminates the need for milling, cutting or grinding equipment. The crumb particles retain the porous nature of the coagulated rubber and can be dissolved in a solvent faster than milled or pelletized bale rubber. SBR 4503C exhibits improved green strength and shows incompatibility to oxidizing agents. Offers properties of a blend of ISP elastomers 1009 and 1013 in a single polymer. Recommended for adhesives and sealants intended for installing panels, furring strips, wood molding, plywood or hardboard, construction adhesives, pressure-sensitive label & tape adhesives and bead wire adhesives.
