HallGreen® B-7034 by Hallstar is low to medium molecular weight biodegradable ester. It completely biodegrades within 28 days in accordance with ASTM D5271, ISO 14851 and therefore be regarded as completely biodegradable under aerobic conditions as stated in ASTM D6400 as well as in EN 13432 / ISO 17088. It is well suited for use in polyhydroxyalkanoate and polyhydroxybutyrate, offering extraction resistance both in polar and non-polar fluids as well as improvements in low temperature properties. It has compatibility with PHA and starch. HallGreen® B-7034 is used in paper & packaging. HallGreen® B-7068 by Hallstar is medium molecular weight biodegradable polymeric ester. It completely biodegrades within 70 days in accordance with ASTM D5271, ISO 14851 and therefore be regarded as completely biodegradable under aerobic conditions as stated in ASTM D6400 as well as in EN 13432 / ISO 17088. It is well suited for use in polyhydroxyalkanoate and polyhydroxybutyrate, offering extraction resistance both in polar and non-polar fluids as well as improvements in low temperature properties. It is innovative new polymer modifier that are plant-derived and perform as well as traditional esters derived from petroleum-based products. It is compatible in many new biopolymers, such as PLA, Plastarch Material (PSM) and environmentally friendly esters. Its features include low volatility, high plasticizing efficiency, excellent resistance to polar fluids and very good low temperature flexibility. Used in general-purpose film and packaging.
