Methoxy polyehthyleneglycol methacrylate. Is a long chain methacrylate monoester based on an ethylene oxide backbone. It is water soluble and contains approximately 8 ethylene oxide (EO) units in the chain. It is used to introduce non-ionic water dispersible groups into acrylic or vinyl polymers. It is also an excellent flexibilizing molecule due to its low glass transition temperature (Tg). Used in water-based pressure sensitive adhesives (PSAs). Bisomer® PEA 6 by GEO Specialty Chemicals is a polyethyleneglycol monoacrylate. Is a firmly established capping agent in urethane acrylate oligomers for various applications including UV cure adhesives. Bisomer® PEA 6 is non-toxic, hydrophilic and offers a low glass transition temperature (Tg) and low shrinkage on polymerization. Bisomer® DDDMA by GEO Specialty Chemicals is a 1,10-Decanediol Dimethacrylate. Used for anaerobic adhesives and sealants. Bisomer® DDDMA offers flexibility, water repellency and light stability. Bisomer® PTE by GEO Specialty Chemicals is N,N-bis-(2-hydroxyethyl)-para-toluidine. It is an aromatic tertiary amine used as an amine activator for use in formulations using organic peroxides. Bisomer® PTE has reduced toxicity compared to many competitive products. Liquid at room temperature, it can be used as a diol to incorporate amine groups into the backbone of unsaturated polyesters. 50% aqueous solution of methoxy polyethyleneglycol 1000 methacrylate. It is an aqueous solution of a long chain methacrylate monoester based on a poly-ethyleneglycol backbone. It is water soluble and contains approximately 23 EO units within the chain. It is used to introduce non-ionic water dispersible groups into acrylic or vinyl polymers. It is also an excellent flexibilizing molecule due to its low glass transition temperature (Tg). Is a firmly established capping agent in urethane methacrylate oligomers for various applications including strucural adhesives. It is hydrophilic and offers a low glass transition temperature (Tg) and low shrinkage on polymerization. Polyalkyleneglycol monomethacrylate. Is a firmly established capping agent in urethane methacrylate oligomers for various applications including strucural and anaerobic adhesives. It offers a low glass transition temperature (Tg) and low shrinkage on polymerization. It is an ideal candidate as a polymerisable surfactant in associative thickeners. Polyalkyleneglycol dimethacrylate. It is based around a 7 unit propylene oxide (PO) backbone, both ends of the chain is capped with 2 moles of ethylene oxide (EO) prior to esterification. Has the inherent ability to modify the hydrophobic/hydrophilic balance in formulated systems. Offering low shrinkage on polymerization and advantageous improvements in impact strength are amongst its major advantages. Isotridecyl methacrylate. It is a hydrophobic, monofunctional methacrylate monomer. Offers a low glass transition temperature (Tg), hence it is an excellent flexibilizing co-monomer in adhesive and sealant applications. Provides a low viscosity and low odor combined with low shrinkage on polymerization. Is a particularly useful monomer in applications such as anaerobic adhesives and vacuum impregnation sealants and PSAs.
