Bisomer® PTE by GEO Specialty Chemicals is N,N-bis-(2-hydroxyethyl)-para-toluidine. It is an aromatic tertiary amine used as an amine activator for use in formulations using organic peroxides. Bisomer® PTE has reduced toxicity compared to many competitive products. Liquid at room temperature, it can be used as a diol to incorporate amine groups into the backbone of unsaturated polyesters.
