HYPALON® CP 826 by Dow is a chlorinated, maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene. It is used as an adhesion primer for polypropylene, polypropylene blends with TPOs in auto bumpers, polyurethane foam in athletic shoe construction. It is suitable for EVA with high levels of PE in athletic shoes, wash primer or tie layer between materials that are difficult to adhere in dilute solutions. It is used as adhesion modifier because of its solubility in common solvents. HYPALON® CP 826 shows very good adhesion to polypropylene and blends containing polypropylene, plastics and metals. HYPALON® 45 by Dow is a stable, chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber. It is used in adhesives. It possesses high uncured strength, very good resistance to ozone and oxygen even in nonblack compounds, good oil resistance, very good weathering- & chemical resistance, electricity insulation- & good low temperature properties. It also displays very good heat-aging, heat resistance upto 150°C, good flame retardancy, very good abrasion resistance, good compression set and good tear strength. It shows permanent bright colors and has no discoloration on exposure to light. HYPALON® 45 exhibits very good mechanical properties on compounding. HYPALON® 40S by Dow is a stable, chlorosulfonated polyethylene. It possesses good green strength, very good resistance to ozone and oxygen even in nonblack compounds, good oil resistance, very good weathering- & chemical resistance, electricity insulation- & good low temperature properties. It also displays very good heat-aging, heat resistance upto 150°C, good flame retardancy, very good abrasion resistance, good compression set and good tear strength. It shows permanent bright colors and has no discoloration on exposure to light. It exhibits very good mechanical properties on compounding. HYPALON® 40S is used in adhesives. HYPALON® 4085 by Dow is a stable, chlorosulfonated polyethylene. It possesses good green strength, very good resistance to ozone and oxygen even in nonblack compounds, good oil resistance, very good weathering- & chemical resistance, electricity insulation- & good low temperature properties. It also displays very good heat-aging, heat resistance upto 150°C, good flame retardancy, very good abrasion resistance, good compression set and good tear strength. It shows permanent bright colors and has no discoloration on exposure to light. HYPALON® 4085 exhibits very good mechanical properties on compounding. It is used in adhesives. HYPALON® 20 by Dow is chlorosulfonated polyethylene synthetic rubber. It contains low levels of carbon tetrachloride and chloroform. It is highly resistant to the deteriorating effects of ozone, oxygen, weather, heat, oil and chemicals. It offers high tensile strength and abrasion resistance when compounded. HYPALON® 20 shows good low-temperature flexibility in adhesive applications. HYPALON® 40 by Dow is a stable chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber. It is used in adhesives and sealants for automotive applications. It provides very good chemical and weathering resistance, electrical insulation & good low temperature properties, very good heat-aging and heat resistance upto 150°C. It offers good flame retardancy, very good abrasion resistance, good compression set and good tear strength. It shows permanent bright colors and has no discoloration on exposure to light. HYPALON® 40 exhibits very good mechanical properties on compounding. HYPALON® 30 by Dow is chlorosulfonated polyethylene synthetic rubber designed for adhesive applications. It contains low levels of carbon tetrachloride and chloroform. It is highly resistant to the deteriorating effects of ozone, oxygen, weather, heat, oil and chemicals. It offers high tensile strength and abrasion resistance when compounded. HYPALON® 30 forms hard and glossy films. HYPALON® 48 by Dow is a stable, chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber. It possesses high uncured strength, very good resistance to ozone and oxygen even in nonblack compounds, good oil resistance, very good weathering- & chemical resistance, electricity insulation- & good low temperature properties.
