DISPERCOLL® U 42 by Covestro is an anionic high-molecular-weight polyurethane dispersion. Designed for water-borne fast bonding, heat-activated, moisture and heat-resistant adhesives for furniture, automotive, shoe, and construction industries. The thermal stability and resistance to plasticizers, grease, and oil can be increased by the addition of 2-5 %wt of a water-emulsifiable polyisocyanate from the Desmodur® range. The shelf life of DISPERCOLL® U 42 is 6 months. DISPERCOLL® U 54 by Covestro is an anionic, high molecular weight polyurethane dispersion. It is a raw material for formulating thermally active adhesives for the furniture, automotive, shoe, and construction industries. Also suitable for water-borne, fast-bonding, moisture and heat-resistant adhesives. Exhibits outstanding bonding properties on most synthetic and natural materials. The thermal stability and resistance to plasticizers, grease, and oil can be increased by the addition of 2-5 % by weight of a water-emulsifiable polyisocyanate from the Desmodur® range. The crosslinker is added just before application of the adhesive and mixed thoroughly. The shelf life of DISPERCOLL® U 54 is 6 months. Recommended storage temperature is 5°C-23°C but temperatures higher than 30 °C should be avoided. DISPERCOLL® S 5005 by Covestro is anionic colloidal solution of amorphous silicone dioxide. The proper viscosity for a particular application can be obtained through the addition of nano-zinc oxide to the adhesive formulation. Shows improved moisture resistance and a higher heat resistance. It is intended as a component for waterborne polychloroprene adhesives based on Dispercoll® C dispersions. The shelf life of DISPERCOLL® S 5005 is six months and recommended storage temperature is 10-25 °C. DISPERCOLL® U 53 by Covestro is an anionic, high-molecular-weight polyurethane dispersion. Exhibits outstanding bonding properties on most synthetic and natural materials. DISPERCOLL® U 53 is a raw material for the formulation of thermally activated adhesives for use in furniture, automotive, shoe, and construction industries. The thermal stability and resistance to plasticizers, grease, and oil can be increased by the addition of 2-5 % by weight of a water-emulsifiable polyisocyanate from the Desmodur® range. Suitable for fast bonding, heat-activated, moisture-resistant, heat-resistant, and water-borne adhesives. The shelf life of DISPERCOLL® U 53 is 6 months. DISPERCOLL® U 56 by Covestro is an anionic, high molecular weight polyurethane dispersion. It acts as a raw material for thermally activated adhesives for use in such industries as automotive, furniture, shoe, and construction. Exhibits fast bonding, moisture, and heat resistance. Suitable for applications with low thermal activation temperatures and is therefore particularly well suited for use on temperature-sensitive substrates. Shelf life of DISPERCOLL® U 56 is 6 months. Recommended storage temperature is 5-23°C, but temperatures higher than 30°C should be avoided. DISPERCOLL® C 74 by Covestro is an aqueous colloidal dispersion of 2-chlorobutadiene polymer. Possesses medium gel content and a medium rate of crystallization. DISPERCOLL® C 74 is used in the formulation of contact adhesives and aqueous adhesives for footwear, construction, furniture, mattress, and automotive industries. DISPERCOLL® C 74 has a shelf life of 6 months. Recommended storage temperature is 10-25°C. DISPERCOLL® S 4020 by Covestro is an anionic colloidal solution of amorphous silicone dioxide. It is intended as a component for waterborne polychloroprene adhesives based on Dispercoll® C dispersions. The proper viscosity for a particular application can be obtained through the addition of nano-zinc oxide to the adhesive formulation. Shows improved moisture resistance and a higher heat
resistance. The shelf life of DISPERCOLL® S 4020 is six months, and the recommended storage temperature is 10-25 °C. DISPERCOLL® S 4510 by Covestro is anionic colloidal solution of amorphous silicone dioxide. Shows improved moisture resistance and a higher heat
resistance. The proper viscosity for a particular application can be obtained through the addition of nano-zinc oxide to the adhesive formulation. It is intended as a component for waterborne polychloroprene adhesives based on Dispercoll® C dispersions. The shelf life of DISPERCOLL® S 4510 is six months and recommended storage temperature is 10-25 °C. DISPERCOLL® C 84 by Covestro is an aqueous colloidal dispersion of a 2-chlorobutadiene polymer. It has a high rate of crystallization and low gel content. DISPERCOLL® C 84 is used in aqueous adhesives for use in footwear, construction, furniture, mattress, and automotive industries. Also suitable for contact adhesive, foam bonding, and solvent-free adhesives. DISPERCOLL® C 84 has a shelf life of 6 months. Recommended storage temperature is 10-25°C. DISPERCOLL® C 2325 by Covestro is an aqueous dispersion of poly-2-chlorobutadiene. This polychloroprene latex provides a safe and environmental friendly alternative to solvent based adhesives that used non-flammable solvents. DISPERCOLL® C 2325 can be blended with other aqueous polymer dispersions of similar pH-value and fillers. Has high rate of crystallization, high heat resistance or rapid bond strength development and stable pH when subjected to elevated storage temperatures. It also has high level of OH groups which can be crosslinked with water dispersible isocyanate to achieve outstanding heat resistance. It is suitable for the formulation of water based contact cements for use in the footwear, construction and furniture industries. It can also be used for formulating aqueous adhesives for mattress and seating assembly. To ensure reproducible application performance, adjusting the pH to a consistent value using 10% potassium hydroxide is recommended.
