Tacolyn™ 3570

Tacolyn™ 3570 by Synthomer is an anionic, APE-free, aqueous, solvent-free, dispersion of a stabilized rosin ester. It is designed for use in pressure sensitive adhesives based on acrylic polymer emulsions or carboxylated SBR polymer emulsions. It provides enhanced tack and peel to polyethylene and carton board. It is compatible with latices and other aqueous systems of natural rubber, SBR, NBR, butadiene, isoprene, butyl, and neoprene rubbers, VA-E (vinyl acetate-ethylene) copolymers and ethylene vinyl acetate-acrylate terpolymers. It is recommended for automotive, building & construction, tapes & labels and water-borne adhesives. It exhibits excellent silicone liner wetting, excellent thermal & UV stability, good pigment and substrate wetting, good storage and mechanical stability. Tacolyn™ 3570 offers improved adhesion to polyethylene & polypropylene packaging substrates. It shows light color, low surface tensions and resistance to acid & alkali. The shelf life of the product is 274 days.
