Tacolyn™ 5070 by Synthomer is an anionic aliphatic hydrocarbon dispersion prepared from a low molecular weight, aliphatic C5 hydrocarbon resin. Acts as a general purpose isoprene and natural rubber tackifier. Used in pressure sensitive adhesives, tapes, labels and water-borne adhesives. Exhibits good storage and mechanical stability. Tacolyn™ 5070 is highly resistant to acids & alkalies and promotes low peel. It has a shelf life of 243 days. Tacolyn™ 5085 by Synthomer is an aliphatic hydrocarbon resin dispersion. Acts as a tackifier for isoprene rubber and natural rubber latex polymers used in tape applications. Maintains good peel control and offers resistance to acids & alkalies. Tacolyn™ 5085 is used in pressure sensitive adhesives, tapes, labels and water-borne adhesives. It has a shelf life of 274 days. Tacolyn™ 5003 by Synthomer is a single tackifier for anionic polychloroprene latex polymers used in contact adhesive applications. It is an aqueous, APE-free, solvent-free, anionic hydrocarbon resin dispersion. When used as a modifier for contact adhesives, it imparts outstanding high temperature performance, excellent contactability and good moisture resistance without the use of a second reinforcing tackifier. It offers good thermal- & UV stability and promotes cohesion. It is compatible with acrylic, vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE), polyvinyl acetate, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), polychloroprene (neoprene) and natural rubber latexes. Tacolyn™ 5003 is used in waterborne packaging adhesives and sealants. The shelf life of this product is 274 days. Tacolyn™ 5002 by Synthomer is an aromatic modified hydrocarbon resin dispersion. It is an excellent all-purpose SBR tackifier. It is APE-free and offers enhanced specific adhesion to polyolefin substrates & recycled corrugated board. Exhibits good moisture resistance, good thermal & UV stability and promotes cohesion. Used in case & carton sealing closings, contact adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives, tapes and labels and water-borne packaging adhesives. Shelf life of Tacolyn™ 5002 is 182 days. Tacolyn™ 1070 by Synthomer acts as a tackifier used in pressure sensitive and construction adhesives, tapes, labels, case & carton closing sealings and water-borne packaging adhesives. It is an aqueous, APE-free, solvent-free, anionic hydrocarbon dispersion. Exhibits good moisture resistance and enhances specific adhesion to polyolefin substrates & recycled corrugated board. Tacolyn™ 3570 by Synthomer is an anionic, APE-free, aqueous, solvent-free, dispersion of a stabilized rosin ester. It is designed for use in pressure sensitive adhesives based on acrylic polymer emulsions or carboxylated SBR polymer emulsions. It provides enhanced tack and peel to polyethylene and carton board. It is compatible with latices and other aqueous systems of natural rubber, SBR, NBR, butadiene, isoprene, butyl, and neoprene rubbers, VA-E (vinyl acetate-ethylene) copolymers and ethylene vinyl acetate-acrylate terpolymers. It is recommended for automotive, building & construction, tapes & labels and water-borne adhesives.
