Unilin™ 700 alcohol

Unilin™ 700 alcohol by NuCera Solutions is a fully saturated, long chain, linear primary alcohol. Used in adhesives and sealants as an adhesion promoter. Exhibits higher molecular weight, greater crystallinity, and higher purity with an 80% primary alcohol concentration. Offers carbon chains lengths longer than those of conventional fatty acids. Shows higher melt points and hardness with improved compatibility in polyolefin as well as hydrocarbon based systems. Compatibilizes with polar polymers and reacts to form derivatives. Unilin™ 700 alcohol improves the compatibility with hydrocarbons, controls the melting point and lowers the melt viscosity.
