Elotex® HD1500 by Celanese is a free-flowing vinyl acetate and vinyl versatate copolymer-based redispersible binder. It exhibits improved workability, enhanced adhesion & cohesion, excellent water pressure impermeability, good compressive- and flexural strength. It provides good hydrophobic properties, lasting water repellence, reduced water absorption, improved abrasion resistance and defoaming (suitable for highly dense structures).
- It shows high saponification resistance, low emission levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC).
- It is a raw material for building and construction industry such as ready-mixed dry mortars.
- It is used as an organic binder in the formulation of cementitious waterproofing slurries (rigid, one-component), tile grouts (CG1/CG2, ISO 13007) and decorative finishes (e.g. stucco (Veneziano).
