Andisil® 171 Silane

Andisil® 171 Silane by AB Specialty Silicones functioning as a crosslinking agent, adhesion promoter and/or surface modifier. It has dual nature of its reactivity allows it to bind chemically to both inorganic materials (e.g. glass, metals, fillers) and organic polymers (e.g. thermosets, thermoplastics, elastomers). It provides superior elongation, flexibility, and spreading at the interface as a coupling agent. It improves adhesion between glass, mineral & metal surfaces and amino reactive resins. It enhances adhesion while maintaining good shelf stability as an additive to waterborne systems. It is applicable in water-based adhesives and sealants. Andisil® 171 Silane has a shelf life of 2 years.
