Multi-wall carbon nanotube modified by a polymer system (Kentera™). It reinforces rubbers and elastomers that are peroxide cured. The polymer modification on these multi-wall carbon nanotubes makes them easy to disperse and crosslink into the host matrix, resulting in improved mechanical properties. Improves durability, toughness, shock absorption, fatigue resistance, tear strength, tensile modulus, rapid gas decompression and shear strength. Suitable with ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM/EPM), nitrile rubber (NBR), natural rubber (NR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), chloroprene rubber (CR), acrylic rubber (ACM), hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR), and fluoroelastomers (FKM) that are cured using peroxide and amine chemistries. Applications include sports equipments, transportation, aerospace, consumer goods, industrial components, gaskets, O-rings and seals. Recommended loading range is 0.1 to 1.0 wt. %. Listed in TSCA inventory requirements. Multi-wall carbon nanotube modified by a polymer system (Kentera™). It easily integrates into a wide range of aqueous solutions. High-shear mixing can also be used in making solvent dispersions. Improves durability, toughness and fatigue resistance. Suitable for epoxies and bio-applications. Main applications include sports equipments, transportation, aerospace, consumer goods and industrial components. Recommended loading range is 0.5 to 10 wt. %. Listed in TSCA inventory requirements. ZNT -C™ by Zyvex Technologies is multi-wall carbon nanotube modified by a polymer system (Kentera™). It reinforces thermoset & thermoplastic resins and polymer fiber reinforced composites. Disperses easily and remains uniformly dispersed for extended periods of time. Improves durability, toughness and fatigue resistance. In some cases, it may be required to modify the resin formulations and/ or curing agents to achieve the benefits of ZNT-C. Suitable with epoxies, vinyl ester, polyesters (SMC & BMC), polyurethane, polyurea, polycarbonates and nylon. It can be dispersed in thermoset resins by three-roll milling, high-shear mixing, and sonication process and by a twin-screw extrusion process in case of thermoplastic polymers. Applications include sports equipment's, transportation, aerospace, consumer goods, and industrial components. Recommended loading range is 0.1 to 1.0 wt. %. ZNT -C™ is listed in TSCA inventory requirements.
