ZNT -C™ by Zyvex Technologies is multi-wall carbon nanotube modified by a polymer system (Kentera™). It reinforces thermoset & thermoplastic resins and polymer fiber reinforced composites. Disperses easily and remains uniformly dispersed for extended periods of time. Improves durability, toughness and fatigue resistance. In some cases, it may be required to modify the resin formulations and/ or curing agents to achieve the benefits of ZNT-C. Suitable with epoxies, vinyl ester, polyesters (SMC & BMC), polyurethane, polyurea, polycarbonates and nylon. It can be dispersed in thermoset resins by three-roll milling, high-shear mixing, and sonication process and by a twin-screw extrusion process in case of thermoplastic polymers. Applications include sports equipment's, transportation, aerospace, consumer goods, and industrial components. Recommended loading range is 0.1 to 1.0 wt. %. ZNT -C™ is listed in TSCA inventory requirements.
