Facilitates the decomposition of blowing agent at 180°C and thus a very fine and homogenous cell structure is obtained.
Its strong activity permits to use it in rather short baking spreading machines.
A metering of 1.5 PHR is adequate in long channels, over expansion is avoided.
Important: it is recommended to mix it with plasticiser during plastisol preparation. Totally compatible with plasticisers as D.O.P, D.O.A, D.I.D.P.
The adjoining of an epoxy plasticiser when formulating transparent articles is recommended.
Not recommended for extrusion forming.
By dropping the viscosity of plastisols it permits a higher filler level. Totally compatible with plasticisers as D.O.P. D.I.D.P, D.O.A etc and plate-out cases are not encountered.
When using extrusion techniques, external lubrication is provided by the addtion of stearic acid. The addtion of an epoxy plasticiser is recommended.
When using calendering techniques V Stab PV 100 is adequate. The use of external lubricating and epoxy plasticisers is recommended.
An optimum result is achieved when using V Stab PV 100 in 2 % ratio in injection molding. It is possible also to use it with a chlorinated auxiliary plasticiser without detrimental effects. Easy metering and prevention of the workers from poisoning as the powder dusts.
Easy mixing in dry blends or when formulating granules, better inital colour, possibility to obtain very smooth surfaces, improved light stability.
Application: it is possible to stabilize both suspension and paste type PVC resins .
A plastisol formulated with it will have lower viscosity thus making possible to have higher load volumes.
Is recommended to add calcium stearate together with stearic acid to improve lubrication.
Contains a quantity of internal lubricant.
