Di 2 ethyl hexyl phtalate by Vatan Kimya has a good low temperature flexbility and the extraction ratio with water, oil and soap solutions is low. D.O.P. imparts excellent transparency to PVC articles and its heat and light fastness are good.
The flexibility imparted to PVC is permanent. Di 2 ethyl hexyl phtalate is totally compatible with ethyl cellulose and nitro cellulose.
