Norox® MEKP-30 by United Initiators is an excellent liquid initiator for the polymerization of vinyl monomers and is particularly useful in the room temperature cure of polyester resins. In this application Norox® MEKP-30 imparts high exotherm characteristics to the cure.
TAPEH by United Initiators is tert. amylperoxy-2-ethyl hexanoate. It acts as an initiator (radical source) in the polymerization of monomers, e.g. ethylene, styrene, allyl monomer and (meth)acrylates for bulk or suspension in combination with thermally more stable peroxides. It is liquid therefore, easy to dose and readily miscible with high boiling aliphatic. TAPEH appears as a colorless mobile liquid having a molecular weight of 230.3 g/mol.
NPS-5 (SPS) by United Initiators acts as an initiator (source of free radicals) for the
polymerization of monomers and strong oxidizing agent in many applications. It is a white, crystalline, odorless salt consisting of technically pure sodium peroxodisulfate and 0.5% silicic acid to enhance the free flowing properties.

It is used for the emulsion or solution polymerization of acrylic monomers, vinyl acetate, vinyl chloride and for the emulsion copolymerization of styrene, acrylonitrile and butadiene.

It can also be used for polymerization reactions carried out at lower and even at ambient temperatures in combination with redox systems.

It is recommended to be used with TBHP-70-AQ to reduce the residual monomer content, particularly where redox systems are used.

It is non-hygroscopic, easy and safe to handle and has a good storage stability.

NPS-5 (SPS) has a shelf life of 12 months.

Recommended dosage level is 0.1-0.5%.
