Chopped strand 3156 by PPG Industries is E-glass type fiber. Shows good dispersion and fast wet-out contribute to high production rates. Imparts very good mechanical and electrical properties provide a wide range of design latitude. Also shows compatibility with a wide range of resin systems and process methods. Chopped strand 3156 offers very good electrical resistance which further provides application to end products subject to UL test requirements. Silane based E-Glass type fiber. Designed to reinforce thermoset bulk molding compounds for the production of compression or injection molded parts. Offers good mechanical properties, efficient cost effective processing. Provides high compounding rates. Used successfully in composite applications that meet FDA requirements.
