Accicure® ZMBT by PMC Group is a zinc salt of Mercaptobenzthiazole. Acts as an accelerator. Is insoluble in water and petroleum ether and soluble in alcohol and chloroform.Possesses less scorch and vulcanisate properties. Is specially recommended for latex compounds. Accicure® ZDBC by PMC Group is a zinc dibutyl dithiocarbamate. Acts as an accelerator. Possesses high solubility in rubber tending to give better transparency and lower risk of blooming from vulcanisates. Is insoluble in water and soluble in choloroform. Has highest solubility in EPDM rubbers and is a preferred accelerator in combination with others for non-blooming EPDM compound applications which entail extruded profiles for automobiles. Accicure® ZDC by PMC Group is a zinc diethyl dithiocarbamate. Acts as an accelerator. Is fast curing at low temperatures, has limited scorch safety and gives vulcanisates with good levels of mechanical properties. Is insoluble in water, petroleum ether and alcohol and soluble in chloroform. Is too scorchy for extensive use as a sole accelerator in a "dry" rubber compound. Imparts good ageing, flat curing and non staining properties. Is extremely useful as a booster giving fast curing yet reasonably safe combinations. Accicure® ZDC is extremely popular for a wide range of latex applications. Accicure® MBTS by PMC Group is dibenzthiazyl disulphide. Acts as a curing agent. Possesses excellent scorch resistance and gives extremely good ageing properties. Is practically non-staining and similarly needs the addition of stearic acid to function at its maximum efficiency. Accicure® MBTS gives rapid curing in combination with guanidines, thiurams and dithiocarbamates. Used in rubbers. Accicure® TMT by PMC Group is a tetramethylthiuram disulphide. Acts as an accelerator. Is insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol and petroleum ether and soluble in chloroform. Is used with sulphur as a single accelerator and as an important component of multi accelerator blends. Accicure® TMT is non staining but too scorchy to be use with normal sulphur dosages. Also cures rubber without added sulphur, acting as both accelerator and sulphur donor. Is a very popular booster giving reasonably safe and fast-curing combinations. Accicure MS is a tetramethyl thiuram monosulphide. Acts as an accelerator. Is insoluble in water and soluble in chloroform. Used as a booster for good processing safety. Used with DPG or DOTG and sulphur to give a curing system which is a useful alternative to ethylene thiourea (ETU). Accicure® DPG by PMC Group is a diphenyl guanidine. Acts as a medium speed accelerator. Is used as a secondary accelerator in combination with thiazoles and sulphenamides. Such combinations give fast cures and a high level of physicals with good modulus and are very popular for footwear and cables, etc. Is also a popular accelerator for ebonites. Accicure® DPG is used in NR latex as a secondary gelling agent in the silico-fluoride-gelled latex foam process. Accicure® MBT by PMC Group is a 2-mercaptobenzthiazole. Acts as an accelerator. Confers on the vulcanizates low modulus and excellent ageing properties. Is too scorchy to use with appreciable loading of furnace black. Gives fast curing high-modulus rubbers in combination with guanidine accelerators. Accicure® MBT is popular for quick curing molded articles when boosted with thiuram or a dithiocarbamate. Caused only slight discoloration on exposure to light and has useful peptizing properties. Accicure® F by PMC Group is an activated thiazole. Acts as a medium speed accelerator. Shows fast cure with flat optimum, excellent ageingproperties and freedom from discoloration. Produces high level of tensile strength/modulus and have a greatly improved processing safety. Accicure® F is widely used in hose, footwear, cables and various types of general molding. Accicure® HBS by PMC Group is a cyclohexyl benzthiazyl sulphenamide. Acts as an accelerator. Produces vulcanizates of excellent quality whose mechanical properties and ageing characteristics resemble those of boosted thiazole systems. Imparts high level of tensile strength and modulus in rubber as compared to other sulphenamide. Is a popular accelerator for inner tubes. Accicure® HBS is suitable for mixes containing high loading of reinforcing carbon black.
