Accicure® DPG by PMC Group is a diphenyl guanidine. Acts as a medium speed accelerator. Is used as a secondary accelerator in combination with thiazoles and sulphenamides. Such combinations give fast cures and a high level of physicals with good modulus and are very popular for footwear and cables, etc. Is also a popular accelerator for ebonites. Accicure® DPG is used in NR latex as a secondary gelling agent in the silico-fluoride-gelled latex foam process.
