Gaia® AB 704 by Phoenix Plastics is an organic concentrate. It is used in film, injection molding and extrusion applications to control growth of bacteria, yeast, mold and algae. Organic concentrate produced from citrus extracts that controls/retards the growth of bacteria, fungus and algae in plastic molded parts. Powerful additive concentrate produced in an LLDPE carrier resin for ease of dispersion. Used in the inner core of the tank structure, which also contains a chemical foaming agent to add rigidity and insulation to the water tank. Has been used in rotational molded applications to control growth of bacteria, yeast, mold and algae, especially in molded polethylene water tanks. Proprietary blend of various organic products consisting of citric acid, citrus extract, and a blend of unique quaternary proprietary ammonium chloride salts. Acts as a very effective disinfectant, and sanitizer in controlling gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, fungi, and viruses associated with avian hatchery industry, poultry, swine, livestock premises, laboratory animal facilities, and kennels. Product is a very good inhibitor against algae, in roto-molding, injection, extrusion, and blow molded polyethylene parts. Organic concentrate that controls/retards the growth of bacteria, fungus and algae in plastic molded parts. Powerful additive concentrate produced in an LLDPE carrier resin for ease of dispersion. Used in film, injection molding and extrusion applications to control growth of bacteria, yeast, mold and algae. A loading of 4% - 6% will protect plastic articles for 1–2 years. Product should be kept closed and in it’s original container, away from sunlight, heat and high humidity enviroments.
