Cel-Span® CFA 840 by Phoenix Plastics is a mixture of polycarbonic acids and carbonates. It is a 40% active endothermic chemical foaming agent concentrate, suitable for a variety of olefin resins such as polyethylene and polypropylene. Cel-Span® CFA 840 is recommended for extrusion, injection molding, and structural foam molding of polyolefins.
Cel-Span® 899 by Phoenix Plastics is a mixture of polycarbonic acids and carbonate. 40% active endothermic foaming agent concentrates recommended for extrusion applications for a variety of thermoplastic resins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, styrenics, MPPO and ABS. Recommended for extrusion, and structural foam molding of polyolefins, polystyrene, MPPO and ABS. Exhibits a very fine cell structure compared to a typical endothermic foaming agent in extrusion applications. Cel-Span® 899 should be kept closed and stored in the original container, away from light, heat and high humidity environments.
Cel-Span® CFA 844 by Phoenix Plastics is mixture of polycarbonic acids and carbonates. Cel-Span® CFA 844 is a highly loaded 80% active endothermic foaming agent formulated for applications with high gas requirements. It concentrate releases carbon dioxide gas upon decomposition. This product is safe when used under the conditions of intended use. Cel-Span® CFA 844 upon complete decomposition (activation) of the C.F.A., the extruded and injected parts will become white, a color common to endothermic chemical foaming agents.
