Cyclohexanone peroxide in dimethyl phthalate and diacetone alcohol. Used as a curing agent for unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. Being thermally unstable substance, it may undergo self-accelerating decomposition. Suitable for the curing of spray putties and in hand lay-up and spray-up applications. Cyclonox® LR by Nouryon is a cyclohexanone peroxide for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It gives in comparison with the standard high reactive cyclohexanone peroxide formulation Cyclonox® LE-50 a longer gel time and slower cure. Cyclonox® LR has a shelf life of 3 months and is listed in TSCA. Cyclonox® 11 by Nouryon is a curing agent for unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. It is a cyclohexanone peroxide in dimethyl phthalate and diacetone alcohol. Being thermally unstable substance, it may undergo self accelerating decomposition. Cyclonox® 11 possesses shorter gel time, lower peak exotherm and a more gradual care. It is suitable for the manufacturing of thick moldings and for the button production.
