EPOSTAR™ MV Series by Nippon Shokubai acts as anti-blocking, light-diffusion, matting, and void-forming agents. They are polymethyl methacrylate-based, crosslinked, perfectly spherical fine particles. They exhibit excellent heat- and solvent resistance, and excellent dispersibility for resins (polyolefin etc.) and solvent. Transparency by refractive index (1.51) is close to polyolefin resin. EPOSTAR™ MV Series are recommended for food packaging films. They comply with laws and regulations regarding food contact materials in the United States, Europe, South America, Japan and China. EPOSTAR™ Series by Nippon Shokubai are toner additives, light diffusion and matting agents. They are heat-cured, spherical fine particles with melamine and benzoguanamine resins as raw materials. They possess high refractive index and positive charge due to high density nitrogen atom. They offer excellent heat and solvent resistance. EPOSTAR™ Series are used in resin modification and optics.
