GEL ALL MD-LM30G

by New Japan Chemical

GEL ALL MD-LM30G by New Japan Chemical is 1,3:2,4-bis-O-(4-methylbenzylidene)-D-sorbitol. Acts as a nucleating agent for polyolefin resins. GEL ALL MD-LM30G is the low melting point type of GEL ALL MD. It enables setting low temperatures for kneading and forming while maintaining good dispersibility and transparency by controlling fusing characteristics. Usual melting point of MD is 260 to 265°C, but the melting point of GEL ALL MD-LM30G is 200 to 220°C, which is within the range of general processing temperatures for polypropylene. GEL ALL MD-LM30G melting point characteristic enables kneading and forming in the temperature range where polymer and transparent nucleating agent are both melted, thereby enabling exertion of good dispersibility and transparency in resins

GEL ALL MD

by New Japan Chemical

1,3:2,4-bis-O-(4-methylbenzylidene)-D-sorbitol. GEL ALL MD by New Japan Chemical acts as a nucleating agent for polyolefin resins, gelling agent, thickener and thixotropic agent. GEL ALL MD is also used as a monomer-type organic gelling agent, fluidity control agent, or the like. Adds good transparency and luster to homo polymer or random copolymer of polypropylene. It also has enhanced mechanical characteristics such as shock resistance and rigidity. Its increased crystallization temperature shortens cycle time for molding, thereby contributing to improvement of productivity. GEL ALL MD by New Japan Chemical is a clear nucleating agent suitable for medical polypropylene like injector, and is also effectively used in wide-ranging thin injection molded products such as storage containers, CD/DVD cases, jewel boxes, and food containers.

GEL ALL E-200

by New Japan Chemical

GEL ALL E-200 by New Japan Chemical is a crystal nucleating agent for polyolefin resins. GEL ALL E-200 has a slightly lower melting point than that of GEL ALL MD-LM30G. With this characteristic, both polymer and crystal nucleating agent are fused and dispersed uniformly at a relatively low temperature, thereby exerting good transparency, consequently it enables kneading and forming at a low temperature. When a sorbitol transparent nucleating agent is used as crystal nucleating agent, a very small amount of free aldehyde may give a smell or taste change to the molded product. By using GEL ALL E-200, the amount of free aldehyde is substantially suppressed compared to conventional products, thereby producing products with good sensory characteristics in terms of smell and taste.

GEL ALL D

by New Japan Chemical

1,3:2,4-bis-O-benzylidene-D-glucitol (dibenzylidene sorbitol). Acts as a nucleating agent for polyolefin resins, gelling agent, thickener and thixotropic agent. Addition of GEL ALL D to random polypropylene and homo polypropylene will ensure excellent transparency, high rigidity, increased crystallization speed, and shortened cycle time, thereby improving productivity.
