BNX® 1225

Synergistic blend of BNX 1010 and Benefos 1680. Provides excellent heat stability and antioxidation, with good compatibility with resins and excellent extraction resistance. Synergistic blend is used in polyolefins and olefin-copolymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers. Can also be used in other polymers such as engineering plastics, styrene homo- and copolymers, polyurethanes, elastomers, adhesives, and other organic substrates.

BNX® 1900

BNX® 1077

UV absorber in the 300-400 nm region. High degree of photostability as its characteristics and structure are unchanged over long periods of light exposure. Provides ultraviolet protection in a wide variety of polymers Thermally stable to processing temperatures as high as 600°F. Excellent resistance to oxidizing and reducing agents used in polymerization and curing. Imparts little or no initial color to substrates. Does not discolor during light or heat aging. Exhibits antioxidant and thermal stabilization properties.

BNX® TAHQ

BNX® TAHQ by Mayzo is an 2,5-Di(tert-amyl) hydroquinone. It acts as an antioxidant and stabilizer. It is non-staining and non-discoloring, helps improve long-term stability, FDA cleared for use in rubber articles. Combinations of BNX® TAHQ with other antioxidants such as hindered phenols, phosphites, thioethers, and multifunctional antioxidants often show synergistic performance. It is compatible with all polymers and elastomers. The recommended dosage is 0.5-1.5%. BNX® TAHQ has a shelf life of 2 years.

BNX® 549

BNX® 549 by Mayzo is 2-Propenoic acid, 2-[1-[3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylpropyl)-2-hydroxyphenyl]ethyl]-4,6-bis(1,1-dimethylpropyl)phenyl ester. Acts as a multifunctional antioxidant. It is highly effective to prevent gel formation in butadiene homo- and co-polymers, especially under anaerobic conditions, is non-discoloring, FDA-cleared and exhibits low volatility. It is effective to scavenge alkyl (carbon-centered) radicals. The product is particularly active under demanding processing conditions (high temperature, high shear) and under anaerobic conditions. BNX® 549 is compatible with polypropylene, styrenic block copolymers, polystyrene, and rubber-modified polystyrene, polyolefins and polyamides. Recommended dosage is 0.05-0.5%. It has a shelf life of two years.

It is highly effective to prevent gel formation in butadiene homo- and co-polymers, especially during processing under anaerobic conditions, is non-discoloring and low volatility, exhibits excellent resistance to extraction and FDA-cleared. BNX® 3052 is compatible with HIPS, ABS, SBS, SBR, NR, EPDM and hydrocarbon resins. Recommended dosage is 0.05-0.5%. It has a shelf life of 2 years.

BNX® 1249

BNX® 1249 by Mayzo is a multifunctional stabilization system. It is highly effective to prevent degradation and gel formation during polymer processing operations, especially under anaerobic conditions, also provides protection against oxidative degradation during processing and long term heat aging, is non-discoloring and exhibits low volatility. BNX® 1249 is compatible with polyolefins (polyethylene, polypropylene), polystyrene, impact modified polystyrene, and styrene-butadiene copolymers, and particularly in applications subject to high temperature and/or high shear processing operations such as film extrusion. Recommended dosage is 0.1-1% by weight, depending upon the substrate, processing conditions, end use, and other performance requirements. BNX® 1249 has shelf life of 2 years.

BNX® 1135

Improves scorch resistance of polyurethane foams, exhibits excellent compatibility with a variety of polymers, low volatility. In polyurethane and polyol applications, recommended dosage is 0.1-0.5%. BNX® 1135 has a shelf life of two years.

BNX® 1425P

BNX® 1425P by Mayzo is phosphonic acid, P-[[3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxyphenyl] methyl]-, monoethyl ester, calcium salt (2:1). Acts as an antioxidant and esterification catalyst. In the production of rosin esters, it enables shorter reaction times and gives products characterized by reduced discoloration, a low acid number, and improved heat stability. In PET, it provides faster solid-state polymerization, improved color, and reduced generation of acetaldehyde. It is non-discoloring, exhibits excellent resistance to migration and extraction, low-volatility during polycondensation and high temperature processing and extensive FDA clearances. BNX® 1425P is compatible with PET, other thermoplastic polyesters. In PET, recommended dosage is 0.01-0.2% by weight. It has a shelf life of two years.

BNX® DLTDP

BNX® DLTDP by Mayzo is propanoic acid, 3,3'-thiobis-, 1,1'-didodecyl ester. Acts as an antioxidant and heat stabilizer. It is non-discoloring and non-staining, exhibits excellent compatibility with plastics, elastomers, readily soluble in a wide range of organic solvents. Combinations of BNX® DLTDP with primary antioxidants (phenolic antioxidants and multifunctional types) provide synergistic performance. BNX® DLTDP is compatible with polyolefins (polypropylene, polyethylene, TPO), styrenic polymers (e.g. ABS), acrylics, PVC. Recommended dosage is 0.05-1% by weight. It has a shelf life of 2 years.
