It acts as an excellent high efficiency processing aid that promotes a wide processing window. Provides high flexibility to limit the number of processing aids for various applications. It is compatible with PVC and improves melt elasticity, strength and sizing of the formulations. Applications include extruded profiles, vinyl siding, rigid sheet and profile foam, flexible film and foam. Kane Ace™ PA-40 meets the requirements of the PVC Food Sanitation Council, as well as U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulations. Kane Ace™ FM-40 by Kaneka is an acrylic polymer. Acts as an impact modifier. It is designed to improve the impact properties of rigid vinyl formulations. Acts as impact modifier, heat stabilizer and UV abosorber. It is based on pure acrylic core-shell rubber particles, provides an excellent balance of impact resistance with a minor impact on other mechanical properties, such as heat distortion temperature and rigidity of the parts.<br>
