Aradur® 976-1 by Huntsman is a 4,4' diaminodiphenylsulfone. It acts as crosslinker/curing agent/hardener. It is an aero grade which exhibits an excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance & high temperature properties. Used in castings. Aradur® 976-1 is also available in an industrial grade. Aradur® 42 by Huntsman is a cycloaliphatic polyamine. Acts as a curing agent. The liquid to semi-solid Araldite® epoxy resins or resin solutions (e.g. Araldite GY 250, GY 260 or GY 280) do not cure fully when processed solely with Aradur® 42 and consequently resulting films are brittle as well as tend to exude. The features of surface technologies depend on the formulation and epoxy resin used. Exhibits good color stability, low viscosity, good resistance to aqueous, neutral & alkaline solutions. Also exhibits very good mechanical properties and optimal cure effects. Aradur® 42 is used in floorings. Aradur® 21 by Huntsman is an aliphatic polyamine. Acts as a curing agent. Exhibits good color stability, low viscosity, good resistance to aqueous, neutral and alkaline solutions. Also exhibits good resistance to aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, good mechanical properties and optimal cure effects. The liquid to semi-solid Araldite® epoxy resins or resin solutions (e.g. Araldite GY 250, GY 260 or GY 280) do not cure fully when processed solely with Aradur® 21 and consequently resulting films are brittle as well as tend to exude. <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Aradur® 835 exhibits high reactivity and hence it is suitable to be used in combination with DICY and/or phenolic hardeners in order to formulate high reactive powder surface technologies. </li>
<li>The resin components are bisphenol-A or phenol-modified bisphenol-A epoxies (Araldite® GT 7072, GT 7004, GT 7220).</li> Aradur® 33225 by Huntsman is a polyamidoimidazoline. It acts as a crosslinker/curing agent/hardener. It offers good mechanical properties when force cured (2 h at 60-80°C). <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It exhibits very long pot life along with good latency at room temperature. </li>
<li>It is suitable in combination with epoxy resins such as Araldite® GY 250, BY 157 and BY 158 for cold-curing applications. </li>
<li>Aradur® 33225 has to be combined with fast curing hardeners or to be force cured to achieve epoxy typical film properties. </li>
<li>The recommended mix ratio with Araldite GY 250 is 40-60 g/100g. </li></ul> Aradur® 9664-1 by Huntsman is micropulverised 4,4' diaminodiphenylsulfone. It acts as crosslinker/curing agent/hardener. It is an aero grade which exhibits an excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance & high temperature properties. Used in castings. Aradur® 3123 by Huntsman is a heterocyclic amine. It is a substitute imidazole that may be used either as a latent catalytic curing agent for liquid epoxy resins or as a latent accelerator for anhydride and amine cured epoxy resins. It has good latency at room temperatures and exhibits good snap cure properties. Aradur® 3123 is highly reactive at temperatures above 120°C. Used in filament winding, prepreg, pultrusion and molding. Aradur® 9506 by Huntsman is a solid cyclic polyaminoamide in powder form. It acts as a latent hardener which exhibits high reactivity when temperature rises 95-100°C. It has outstanding latency at room temperature, excellent mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and humidity resistance. Aradur® 917 by Huntsman is methyl tetrahydrophtalic anhydride. Acts as a curing agent. It offers low viscosity and long latency. Used for high temperature industrial composite applications by filament winding, RTM and pultrusion. Aradur® 917 can also be used in electrical insulation materials. Aradur® HY 906 by Huntsman is nadic methyl anhydride. Acts as a curing agent. Offers low viscosity, long pot life and long latency. Exhibits excellent mechanical-, electrical properties and very good thermal resistance. It is compatible with liquid epoxy resins at room temperature. Used in potting, filament winding, RTM and pultrusion applications. Aradur® HY 906 can also be used in electrical insulation materials.
