Highly efficient and bio-based primary plasticizer. It is cost competitive relative to conventional plasticizers and an excellent source of renewable carbon. Offers excellent performance characteristics and it is also readily miscible with conventional plasticizers. Suitable for a multitude of general and specialty flexible PVC formulations, including clear, filled and pigmented compounds. Plasticized PVC compound shows substantially improved extraction, excellent low temperature flexibility, UV light stability, reduced amount of volatile organic compounds, enhanced process ability and exceptionally long decomposition time (by Congo Red method). Main applications include GP pigmented & filled, wall covering, flooring, white & clear, speciality and automotive applications. Enables qualification of PVC products for the USDA's BioPreferred Product Label. Epoxy plasticizers in general, to enhance heat stability is widely recognized. Used in the development of rigid packaging (e.g. blow molded bottles and thermoformed sheet). Highly efficient and bio-based primary plasticizer.
