Actafoam® 754-A by Galata Chemicals (Artek) is an activated azodicarbonamide. It is a chemical foaming agent, used in a broad range of polymers processed between 250-450°F. Typical polymers include plasticized and rigid PVC, rubber, polyolefins, styrenics, thermoplastic elastomers and ABS. Actafoam® 754-A is recommended for flexible PVC and elastomers. Used in both plastics and rubber applications where a low decomposition and fast rate of gas release are desirable. Actafoam® 780 is recommended for standard and metallocene polyolefins, various thermoplastic elastomers and soft melting vinyl formulations. Actafoam® AZ-130 by Galata Chemicals (Artek) is an unmodified azodicarbonamide. Acts as foaming agent to produce foam or to reduce shrinkage. Actafoam® AZ-130 is recommended for general purpose PVC applications. Actafoam® AZ-760-A by Galata Chemicals (Artek) is a non-plate out modified azodicarbonamide. It is used for applications such as foamed wire and cable insulation. It reduces loss of foaming agent efficiency. Actafoam® AZ-760-A is designed for rigid PVC extrusion and injection molding. Actafoam® OT by Galata Chemicals (Artek) is p,p’-oxybis(benzenesulfonylhydrazide). Used for flexible PVC and elastomers. Does not interfere with electrical properties in wire insulation applications.
