Tegopren® 6875 by Evonik is a liquid alkyl modified siloxane (liquid silicone wax). It is used for surface treatment of fillers, pigments and flame retardants making them easily dispersible in thermoplastics formulations.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Tegopren® 6875 is also used in-situ during compounding.</li>
<li>It a liquid dispersing additive in the manufacture of masterbatches.</li>
<li>It exhibits excellent rheological properties, improved water repellency/lower water up-take, improved weatherability, improved mechanical properties, color strength and less speck formation.</li>
<li>The optimum dosage of Tegopren® 6875 may lay in a range between 0.2 % and 3.0 %.</li>
<li>Tegopren® 6875 complies with FDA 21 CFR 178.3725 and may be used in compliance with the BfR Recommendation XV.</li></ul> Organomodified siloxane (OMS).
