VERSENE™ 100 Chelating Agent by Dow is a chelating agent. It is an aqueous solution of the tetrasodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. It chelates most multivalent metal ions (e.g., Fe, Cu, Mn, Ca, Mg, Zn) in a 1:1 molar ratio.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>Also, chelates most transition metals below pH 12.</li>
<li>It is stable under varying conditions of temperature, acidity, alkalinity, and the presence of other chemicals.</li>
<li>It is attached, however, by strong oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite bleach.</li>

VERSENE™ 100 XL is used in indirect food contact and polymerization applications. VERSENE™ Diammonium EDTA by Dow is a chelating agent. It is an aqueous solution of the diammonium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. It is used to remove calcium and other types of scale from boilers, evaporators, heat exchangers, filter cloths and glass-lined kettles, and also to prevent scale formation. VERSENE™ Diammonium EDTA is used in polymerization applications. VERSENE™ NA<sub>2</sub> Crystals Chelating Agent by Dow is a chelating agent. This is a partially neutralized salt of EDTA, in dry form. It contains less impurities than VERSENE™ 100. It is useful in formulating dry products or where the total water content of a product must be kept to a minimum. VERSENE™ NA<sub>2</sub> Crystals Chelating Agent is well suited for applications calling for neutral pH or mildly acidic conditions. VERSENE™ Tetraammonium EDTA by Dow is a chelating agent. It is an aqueous solution of the tetraammonium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. VERSENE™ Tetraammonium EDTA is used to remove calcium and other types of scale from boilers, evaporators, heat exchangers, filter cloths and glass-lined kettles, and also to prevent scale formation. VERSENE™ Acid by Dow is a chelating agent. It is particularly useful in systems where sodium ions are undesirable, as in the preparation of ammonium or other alkali metal salts of EDTA. VERSENE™ Acid is used in polymerization applications. VERSENE™ 220E by Dow is tetrasodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate tetrahydrate-based chelating agent. VERSENE™ Powder by Dow is tetrasodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate-based chelating agent. VERSENE™ 100EP by Dow is tetrasodium ethylenediaminetetraacetate-based chelating agent. VERSENE™ 100EP is used for the electroless copper plating industry, with extremely low levels of trace metals.
