Doverguard E-35 by Dover Chemical (ICC Industries) is a biodegradable patented chlorinated ester. Acts as a secondary flame retardant plasticizer in PVC applications. It is based on sustainable raw materials. It provides lower volatility, water extractability, and plastisol viscosity. It offers improved compatibility, increased flex strength, melt processing and increased efficiency. Doverguard E-35 can be used as cost effective replacement of phosphates, phthalates and as an alternative to chlorinated paraffins.

Doverguard 59 is highly effective when reacted into epoxy resin system, due to its structural compatibility, high bromine content, and thermal stability. Its high purity allows its use as a reactive flame retardant for polycarbonates and as an additive for styrenic thermoplastics such as ABS and high impact polystyrene. Doverguard 59 is recommended for thermoplastic and thermoset resin systems.
