Deosec® RG by DOG Chemie is a dispersion of calcium oxide in wax and mineral oil. Acts as a desiccant. It softens in usual mixing conditions and is dispersed easily and evenly. By adding Deosec® RG, moisture in the rubber compound is chemically bound and therefore porosity can be avoided in products of continuous vulcanization. Used mainly in compounds which are cured pressurelessly, e. g. salt bath, UHF channel or fluid bed. Recommended to be used at dosage of 2-12 phr. Deosec® R-MG by DOG Chemie is a dispersion of calcium oxide in organic matrix. Acts as a desiccant. Designed to chemically bind the moisture in order to avoid porosity in pressureless vulcanized elastomers. It gets softened in usual mixing conditions and is dispersed easily and evenly. Mainly recommended for compounds which are cured pressurelessly, e. g. salt bath, UHF channel or fluid bed. The dosage rate is 2 - 12 phr.
