Polyglykol A 400 by Clariant is a non-volatile, hygroscopic polyalkylene glycol monoallyl ether. It is a high molecular alcohol with an allylic function and shows typical chemical reactions of alcohols as well as of the allylic group. Offers increased hydrophilic properties and improved compatibility or even solubility of the end products with water. It is a clear, yellowish liquid at room temperature. It is neutral and soluble in water & commonly used organic solvents like acetone or methanol. Polyglykol A 400 contains less than 10 ppm residual alkali ions and is therefore suitable for polyurethane, platinum catalyzed hydrosilation reactions and radical reactions or radical polymerization reactions. It has good solubility in water and very low water content. It exhibits outstanding toxicological safety & good biodegradability. Polyglykol A 500 by Clariant is a polyethylene glycol monoallyl ether. It is a clear, yellowish liquid at room temperature. It is soluble in water and polar organic solvents like acetone or methanol. Polyglykol A 500 can be considered as high molecular alcohol with an allylic function and therefore shows typical chemical reactions of alcohols as well as of the allylic group. Contains less than 10 ppm residual alkali ions and is therefore suitable for polyurethane as well as hydrosilation reactions. It has low sodium, low water content and low content of by products and narrow molecular weight distribution. Polyglykol A 32/550 by Clariant is a hygroscopic polyalkylene glycol monoallyl ether. Polyglykol 10000 S has a shelf life of 6 months. Polyglykol 2000 PU by Clariant is a release agent. It is polyethylene glycol available in yellow color liquid form. It contains reduced amounts of residual alkali and water. It shows typical chemical reactions of alcohols/diols and a very low evaporation rate. It is compatible with cellulose, polyester, rubber, elastomer and polyurethane. Polyglykol 2000 PU is used in rubber and elastomer processing. Polyglykol 1000 SG VITA by Clariant is polyethylene glycol-based solvent. It is 100% bio-based with a fully segregated supply chain and a renewable carbon index (RCI) of 100%. Polyglykol 1000 SG VITA is recommended for resin synthesis. Polyglykol AM 1100 by Clariant is a polyethylene glycol allyl methyl ether. It is a waxy solid ethoxylated, end-capped with allyl and a methyl group. It is hydrophilic, biodegradable and soluble in water. It offers relatively high heat resistance and low toxicity. It shows low sodium content, greatly enhances hydrophilicity and improves biocompatibility of silicones & polymers. It is used in the hydrophilic modification of polymers. Polyglykol M 500 PU by Clariant is a linear, mono hydroxy-functional polyethylene glycol monomethyl ether (M-PEG). It has low diol content to limit the formation of crosslinking diesters. It offers low alkali and low water content. It shows typical chemical reactions of alcohols/diols and a very low evaporation rate. When reacted with unsaturated monomers like acrylic or methacrylic acid, esters are formed which can be copolymerized in order to increase hydrophilicity and improves dispersing properties of polymers in water. It is esterified with methacrylic acid to yield the corresponding polyglycol mono methacrylates which are used for the polymerization of polycarboxylate superplasticizers. Polyglykol M 500 PU is produced for polyurethane applications. Polyglykol 300 by Clariant is a non-volatile solvent, release agent, lubricant and plasticizer. It is a polyethylene glycol with a mean molecular weight of 300. It is a clear, viscous hygroscopic liquid. It is APEO-free and has low VOC content. It shows typical chemical reactions of alcohols/diols and a very low evaporation rate and low water content. It exhibits outstanding toxicological safety, good biodegradability, solubility in water and very low water content. Polyglykol 300 is compatible with hard water, cellulose, polyester, rubber, elastomer and polyurethane. Polyglykol 1500 PS by Clariant is a non-volatile solvent, release agent, lubricant and plasticizer. It is polyethylene glycol with a mean molecular weight of 1500. It shows typical chemical reactions of alcohols/diols and a very low evaporation rate. It has very low water content and good solubility in water. It exhibits high electrolyte compatibility, outstanding toxicological safety and good biodegradability. It is compatible with hard water, high electrolytes, cellulose, polyester, rubber, elastomer and polyurethane. Polyglykol 1500 PS has a shelf life of 2 years.
