Polyglykol A 32/550

Supplied byClariant- Last Updated on Sep 22, 2025

Polyglykol A 32/550 by Clariant is a hygroscopic polyalkylene glycol monoallyl ether. It is a high molecular alcohol with an allylic function and shows typical chemical reactions of alcohols as well as of the allylic group. Offers increased hydrophilic properties and improved compatibility or even solubility of the end products with water. It is a clear, yellowish liquid at room temperature. It is neutral and soluble in water & commonly used organic solvents like acetone or methanol. Polyglykol A 32/550 contains less than 10 ppm residual alkali ions and is therefore suitable for polyurethane, platinum catalyzed hydrosilation reactions and radical reactions or radical polymerization reactions. It has low content of sodium, water & by products and narrow molecular weight distribution.
