DISPERPLAST®-1142 by BYK is a solvent-free wetting and dispersing additive for PVC plastisols and ambient-curing resin system. It improves the dispersion of filled and pigmented systems. It reduces the viscosity of pigmented and filled PVC plastisols. It is particularly recommended for inorganic pigments and fillers. The product enables greater solids content, improves the color strength of the pigments and shortens dispersion time. The recommended level for blowing agent is 1-2% and for zinc oxide is 1-3%. It is used in acrylate systems (PMMA in MMA) for pigment stabilization and is suitable for both inorganic and organic pigments. Its recommended level is 1-3% for inorganic pigments and inorganic fillers and 5-7% for organic pigments. DISPERPLAST®-1142 is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of this product is 60 months. DISPERPLAST®-1180 by BYK is a low-volatile and solvent-free wetting and dispersing additive for filled and plasticizer-containing PVC dry blends. During the processing of PVC dry blends, it improves plastification. It offers faster fusion time & gelling speed, better distribution of the melt, increased melt strength and higher filler content possible for given process conditions. It provides reduction of the melt viscosity results in lower thermal stress of the melt and considerably increased melt index (MVR = melt volume rate). It also displays smoother surface (higher gloss) and therefore, improved lamination properties and reduction in the formulation costs possible by using more or coarser filler. Recommended for use in producing calendered and extruded PVC applications, e.g. LVT. The recommended level is 0.3-2% additive (as supplied) based on the filler. It is listed in TSCA and ENCS. It is in line with Directive 2011/65/EU (EU RoHS 2), as amended by the Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 (EU RoHS 3), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. The shelf life of this product is 36 months. DISPERPLAST® -1150 by BYK is a solvent-free wetting and dispersing additive for PVC- and thermoplastics applications to improve the dispersion. It reduces the viscosity of pigmented and filled PVC plastisols. It enables greater solids content, improves the color strength of the pigments and shortens the dispersion time. It also prevents any separation of the plasticizer. The tendency of settling is reduced. It absorbs onto the pigment surface and generally enables better processing and dispersion of the pigments. It is recommended for producing fatty acid-based liquid color masterbatches with inorganic pigments which are used to color thermoplastics (PE, PP, PET). In doing so, it significantly reduces the viscosity, therefore, enabling greater pigmentation. The additive is also recommended in solid masterbatches for stabilizing inorganic pigments and effect pigments in PE, PP and PET. In these systems, DISPERPLAST® -1150 improves the torque build-up, the throughput, the viscosity (MVR) and the filter pressure value (FPV). It can impart anti-static properties to compounded materials. Its recommended level is 1-3% for zinc oxide, inorganic pigments & inorganic fillers, 5-7% for organic pigments and 1-2% for blowing agents. For thermoplastics, the recommended level for inorganic pigments, titanium dioxides and effect pigments is 0.5-3%. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. DISPERPLAST® -1150 has a shelf life of 60 months. DISPERPLAST®-I by BYK is a wetting and dispersing additive for PVC plastisols for a better incorporation of pigments & other solids and to reduce sedimentation. It is a solution of a partial amide of an unsaturated polycarboxylic acid polymer. It improves the color strength, minimizes floating and reduces the dispersion time. It also prevents any separation of the plasticizer and reduces settling. Its recommended level is 1-5% for inorganic & organic pigments, 1-2% for blowing agent, 2% for zinc oxide and 3% for co-grind of pigments. DISPERPLAST®-I is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, PICCS, IECSC, AICS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with Directive 2011/65/EU (EU RoHS 2), as amended by the Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 (EU RoHS 3), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste), CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. DISPERPLAST®-1148 by BYK is a wetting and dispersing additive for PVC plastisols for a better incorporation of inorganic pigments and fillers. It minimizes settling and prevents the separation of the plasticizer. It reduces the viscosity of pigmented and filled PVC plastisols. It is particularly recommended for inorganic fillers, zinc oxide and blowing agents (azodicarbonamide). The product enables greater solids content, improves the color strength of the pigments and shortens the dispersion time. It also prevents any separation of the plasticizer. The tendency to settle is reduced. Its recommended level is 1-3% for zinc oxide, inorganic pigments and inorganic fillers and 1-2% for blowing agent. DISPERPLAST®-1148 is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI.
