CLOISITE® -Na+ by BYK is a flame retardant synergist in thermoplastics. It is also an additive for plastics and rubber to improve various physical properties, such as reinforcement, CLTE and barrier. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, PICCS, IECSC, AICS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with Directive 2011/65/EU (EU RoHS 2), as amended by the Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 (EU RoHS 3), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. It is suitable for food contact plastics, Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 Olefin polymers and GB9685-2016, table A.1 Plastics. CLOISITE® -Na+ has a shelf life of 60 months. CLOISITE® -116 by BYK is a phyllosilicate for use as a flame retardant synergist in thermoplastics. It is an additive for plastics and rubber to improve various physical properties such as reinforcement, CLTE, synergistic flame retardant and barrier. It complies with REACH and FDA regulations. CLOISITE® -116 has a shelf life of 60 months. CLOISITE® -Ca++ by BYK is a phyllosilicate for use as a flame retardant synergist in thermoplastics. It also improves various physical properties, such as reinforcement, CLTE and barrier in plastics and rubber. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It improves the process & physical and barrier properties in thermoplastic compounds. It also improves dripping behavior and char formation. It reduces the overall weight. The barrier properties towards oxygen, water vapor and hydrocarbons can be increased by using this additive. In thermoplastics such as polyamides (PA) and bioplastics such as polylactides (PLA), the melt viscosity is increased, enabling an improvement in the dimensional stability during profile extrusion. It is especially recommended for aluminum hydroxide-filled ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), low-density polyethylene (LDPE/LLDPE), magnesium hydroxide-filled polypropylene (PP), polypropylene (PP) films and polylactide (PLA) films. The recommended level is 3-5% additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation. CLOISITE® -20 A is suitable for food contact plastics. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with Directive 2011/65/EU (EU RoHS 2), as amended by the Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 (EU RoHS 3), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging.
