BUDIT® 341 by Budenheim is a halogen-free flame retardant. It is a white, stable powder which decomposes at temperatures above 325°C.

It possesses a high phosphate and nitrogen content.

BUDIT® 341 can be dispersed easily in thermoplastic polymers or in emulsions and liquid formulations.

BUDIT® 315 by Budenheim is a halogen-free flame retardant. It is a white powder which is stable up to 350°C.

The high nitrogen content enhances flame retardant effects primarily through the release of inert gases.

BUDIT® 315 is easily dispersed in thermoplastic polymers and in emulsions and/or liquid formulations.

BUDIT® 3 Series by Budenheim is a halogen-free flame retardant. There are three major routes to attack fire: intumescent systems, char formation synergistic with gas phase activity and unflammable dripping.

It provides chemical components for creating sophisticated flame retardant formulations in order to precisely adjust flammability in certain applications.

BUDIT® 3 Series is compatible with engineering plastics (PA, PBT), polyolefins (PE, PP), TPE & TPU and epoxy & melamine resin.

BUDIT® 6 Series by Budenheim is a halogen-free flame retardant. There are three major routes to attack fire: intumescent systems, char formation synergistic with gas phase activity and unflammable dripping.

BUDIT® 6 Series provides ready to use systems that are designed for direct use in plastics, extrusion and injection molding.

It is suitable for engineering plastics (PA, PBT), TPE & TPU and polyolefins (PE, PP).

BUDIT® 667 by Budenheim is a halogen-free flame retardant. It is a white, stable powder which decomposes at temperatures above 280 °C. It contains a high phosphate and nitrogen content.

When subjected to heat, polymers containing BUDIT® 667 form a protective layer, preventing the access of oxygen to the substrate.

This also prevents further polymer combustion and flame propagation.

It can be used in formulation with a wide range of inert filler materials, such as glass fibers and TiO2.

BUDIT® L Series by Budenheim is a light stabilizer/UV absorber. Laser marking is widely recognized as one of the most effective technologies for the marking and coding of plastics and offers a multitude of solutions for a wide range of markets. BUDIT® L Series creates excellent results in processing speed, marking contrast and strength of welding seams. The formulations are based on eco-friendly ingredients avoiding suspicious materials like antimony. This makes it safe for medical and food contact applications. BUDIT® F24 by Budenheim is an endothermic blowing agent, which decomposes under heat to release gases like carbon dioxide. It consumes heat during reaction. BUDIT® F24 is safe to handle as if the heat supply is interrupted, gas formation comes to standstill and can be restarted with further heat supply. It is a masterbatch based on universal carrier, which contains 70% active ingredients. Processing of thermoplastics with this product produces stable polymer foam with uniform and micronized cells. This additive is suitable for hydrolysis sensitive engineering materials like, e.g. PA, PC or PET as the released gas contains no water. BUDIT® T Series by Budenheim is a polymerization initiator/inhibitor/catalyst. It provides a toolbox of ingredients from adjusting pH levels in suspension production to smoke suppressants for optimizing flame retardant formulations. BUDIT® T Series acts as a buffer for pH9. Free acid due to impurities interferes with the polymerization. Keeping the pH controlled helps to maintain precise reaction kinetics and protects other important ingredients of the formulation. BUDIT® F Series by Budenheim is an environmentally friendly, blowing/foaming agent. It is based on inorganic specialty phosphates without hazardous azodicarbonamides. It provides endothermic foaming ingredients for chemical foaming processes for extrusion and injection molding. BUDIT® F Series achieve faster cycle times and eliminates sink marks. The improved melt flow leads to a complete filling of the cavity, especially with complex mold geometries, as the inherent pressure transports the melt into the entire mold. It is listed as SVHC in REACH. BUDIT® T90 by Budenheim is a polymerization initiator/inhibitor/catalyst. The aqueous solution of disodium hydrogenphosphate shows an alkaline reaction. When it is heated, tetrasodium pyrophosphate is formed. BUDIT® T90 reacts with heavy metal salts to give phosphates of low solubility. In addition, disodium hydrogenphosphate has excellent buffering qualities.
