BUDIT® F24

BUDIT® F24 by Budenheim is an endothermic blowing agent, which decomposes under heat to release gases like carbon dioxide. It consumes heat during reaction. BUDIT® F24 is safe to handle as if the heat supply is interrupted, gas formation comes to standstill and can be restarted with further heat supply. It is a masterbatch based on universal carrier, which contains 70% active ingredients. Processing of thermoplastics with this product produces stable polymer foam with uniform and micronized cells. This additive is suitable for hydrolysis sensitive engineering materials like, e.g. PA, PC or PET as the released gas contains no water.
