BRB Silanil® 829 by BRB International BV is a bi-functional organosilane with a versatile structure combining six hydrolysable groups and a secondary amine group. It acts as a crosslinker, providing stability in applications like encapsulating urethane prepolymers.</li><br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is used as an adhesion promoter for systems based on polyurethane, epoxy, phenolic, furan, melamine, acrylic, silicone, PVB, EVA, PBT, PVAc, PVC, polyamide, polyimide, and other organic resins on inorganic substrates like glass, aluminum, and metal.</li>
<li>It also acts as a coupling agent for fiberglass-reinforced composites to enhance mechanical properties.</li>
<li>BRB Silanil® 829 contributes to mechanical properties, such as in furan or phenolic foundry mold making.</li>
<li>It exhibits lower reactivity due to its secondary amine group, ensuring longer stability.</li>
<li>It is used in mineral filler treatment applications.</li></ul> BRB Silanil® 260 by BRB International BV is epoxy silane-based adhesion promoter. It is 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane suitable for treatment on mineral surfaces for use in mineral filled plastics. Possesses both organic and inorganic reactivity that allows it to react with or couple organic polymers and inorganic surfaces. It increases composite wet & dry flexural strength and modulus. It is recommended at a dosage level of 0.5-2.0 pph to promote unprimed adhesion. BRB Silanil® Si40 by BRB International BV is a polymerization aid of silicone resins, surface modifier and intermediate for Sol Gel process. It is a hydrolyzed and oligomerized tetraethoxysilane-40. BRB Silanil® Si40 is able to react with moisture to form a silica-gel like binder and release by product as ethanol. BRB Silanil® 294 by BRB International BV acts as a dispersing agent based on a reactive n-octyltriethoxysilane. Improves organic compatibility and water repellency on concrete, bricks and masonry substrates. Applicable to many natural fillers and different polymers. BRB Silanil® 294 helps to disperse inorganic fillers or pigments in organic matrix. 2-Aminoethyl-3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane. BRB Silanil® 505 by BRB International BV is an effective coupling agent for mineral-reinforced nylon 6, nylon 6/6 & polybutylene terephthalate and clay-reinforced elastomers such as natural and nitrile rubber. The silane-treated clay provides improvement in both physical and dynamic properties. It increases composite strength properties, wet & dry tensile strength & modulus and wet & dry flexural strength & modulus. It shows excellent adhesion promotion by diaminofunctional group in many kinds of adhesives e.g. silicone, epoxy, acrylic, polyurethane and silylated polyurethane to inorganic substrates such as metal & glass. BRB Silanil® 505 is recommended for fiber glass-reinforced phenolic, melamine and epoxy thermoset composites e.g. epoxy mold compound (EMC), either as a fiberglass finish or as a resinous additive. The recommended usage level is 1-2% for resin additive, 0.1-0.5% for glass fiber size process and 0.1-1.5% for mineral filler treatment. BRB Silanil® 533 ESO by BRB International BV is a silane oligomer containing gamma-glycidoxy and methoxy groups. It is used as a crosslinker to modify polymer structure by simple addition into polymerized water-based resins such as acrylic latex. It offers low VOC during applications and excellent grafting efficiency on polymer chains containing amino, hydroxyl and carboxy functional groups. It provides very good stability to formulated products when used in water-based systems. The recommended usage level of BRB Silanil® 533 ESO is 0.2-2% based on solid content of resin. BRB Silanil® Si28 by BRB International BV acts as a crosslinking agent in polysiloxane or silicone polymers. It is a reactive tetraethyl orthosilicate. Suitable for use as a precursor of silicon dioxide in Sol-Gel system which is beneficial in electronics industry. BRB Silanil® Si28 is compatible with a wide range of organic solvents.
