Biosorb 783

by Bioray Chem

Blend of poly((6-((1,1.3.3-tetramethylbutyl)amino)-s-triazine-2,4-diyl)(t-(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)iminohexamethylene((2,2,6,6 tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)imino)) and dimethyl succinate polymer with 4-hydroxy 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidineethan. Is a blend of lower molecular weight and higher molecular weight HALS to optimize short as well as long term protection of the polymer. Can be used at levels not possible with other conventional HALS. The synergism between the two high molecular weight HALS components is an effective stabilization systems for the polymer against degradation through UV radiation and long term heat exposure. Can also be used in polyolefins, Olefin copolymers such as EVA as well as blends of polypropylene with elastomers.

Biosorb 770

by Bioray Chem

Bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) sebacate. Acts as a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-R type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. Used in PP, PE, PS, PU, ABS resins etc. Optimum effects are obtained when used with antioxidants and UV-absorbers.

Biosorb P

by Bioray Chem

Biosorb P by Bioray Chem acts as an ultraviolet light absorber. Is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 290~400nm region. Has a high degree of photostability- photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy. Offers ultraviolet light protection to a wide range of polymers. Biosorb P can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, as well as HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use.

Biosorb 944

by Bioray Chem

Poly[[6-[(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)amino]-s-triazine-2,4-dinyl][(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl)imino] hexamethylene[2,2,6,6,-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) imino]]. Acts as a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-R type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. Since there are many kind of organic function groups in its molecule, its light stability is very high. Because of large molecule weight, it possesses fine heat-resistance, drawing-standing, low volatility and well colophony compatibility. Can be applied to low density polyethylene, polypropylene fiber, glue belt, EVA ABS, polystyrene and foodstuff package etc.

Biosorb 1084

by Bioray Chem

[2,2'-Thiobis(4-t-octylphenolato)]-n-butylamine nickel. Acts as a Nickel Quencher type UV-absorber for polyolefins. Creates a synergistic effect when used in combination with benzophenone UV absorber such as BIOSORB 531. Used in polyolefin greenhouse films providing high pesticide resistance system, recommended in PE film and PP film.

Biosorb 327

by Bioray Chem

2,4-Di-tert-butyl-6-(5-chlorobenzotriazol-2-yl) phenol. Acts as an ultraviolet light absorber. Is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 290~400nm region and has a high degree of photostability-photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy. Exhibits good initial color, low volatility, excellent stability to heat as well as light, superior wash fastness, and resistance to gas fading. The low pKa and high hindrance of the phenolic group result in low sensitivity to metal containing ingredients in polymer formulation - catalysts residues, metallic driers, etc. It can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use. It is particulary suitable for polypropylene and polyethylene as well as cold cured polyesters, polyurethanes.

Biosorb 326

by Bioray Chem

2-(2'-Hydroxy-3'-t-butyl-5'-methylphenyl)-5-chlorobenzotriazole. Acts as an ultraviolet light absorber. Is a strong absorber of ultraviolet radiation in the 300~400nm region and has a high degree of photostability-photochemical energy absorbed in the ultraviolet region is dissipated as thermal energy. Principally in a greater absorption of longer wavelengths, better compatibility with polyolefins, lower volatility, and suppressed ionization of the phenolic grouping. It is less affected by alkalinity, is less likely to discolor with metals, and has less effect on metal driers as well as metal catalysts. It can be used in combination with phenolic & phosphite antioxidants, and HALS to optimize performance in outdoor use.

Biosorb 234

by Bioray Chem

2-(2-Hydroxy-3,5-di(1,1-dimethylbenzyl)-2H-benzotriazole. Acts as an ultraviolet light absorber belonging to the benzotriazole class of UVAs. Has low volatility, which makes it especially suitable for application involving high temperature processing. Is suitable for polymers requiring high temperature processing. This characteristic makes it suitable for a number of engineering thermoplastic and applications such as PET fibers, films, polycarbonates, POM, nylon as well as TPE compounding.

Biosorb 622

by Bioray Chem

Polymer of dimethyl succinate and 4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1 piperidine ethanol. Acts as a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) of N-R type that protects polymers from degradation due to ultraviolet radiation and long term heat aging. Has excellent hot processing stability and terrific compatibility with resin, satistying extractibility against water, extreme low volatility as well as migratory. Can be applied to PE,PP, polystyrene, ABS, polyurethane and polyamide etc, optimum effects are obtained when used with antioxidants and UV-absorbers. It is one of the light stabilizers that are sanctioned by FDA to be used in food packages.

Biosorb 329

by Bioray Chem
