Kevlar® 129 by Arclin is an aramid fiber. It is a high tenacity grade that is thinner and lighter than Kevlar 29 yet stronger, specifically designed to absorb more kinetic energy. It is used in lightweight body armor and high-pressure oil and gas hoses. Kevlar® 49 by Arclin is an aramid fiber. It is a high modulus grade that is significantly stiffer and less elastic than Kevlar 29, making it more brittle but highly suitable for structural integrity. It is used in boat hulls, aerospace wings and fuselage, and high-end sporting goods. Kevlar® AP by Arclin is an aramid fiber. It provides up to 15% higher tensile strength than standard Kevlar 29, designed to bridge the gap between industrial performance and high-end ballistics. It is used in heavy-duty ropes, fiber optic cables, and automotive reinforcements. Kevlar® 29 by Arclin is an aramid fiber. It is used in bulletproof vests, ropes and cables, cut-resistant gloves, helmets, vehicular armoring, and rubber reinforcement in tires. Kevlar® KM2 by Arclin is an aramid fiber. It is a grade optimized for fragmentation resistance, developed to meet military specifications for stopping shrapnel and high-velocity debris. It is used in military helmets and tactical vests. Kevlar® KM2 Plus by Arclin is an aramid fiber. It has higher tenacity and a greater strain-to-failure limit, offering approximately 10% higher strength and slightly lower weight than the original KM2. It is used in next-generation military armor, spacecraft, and NASA whipple shield. Kevlar® 100 by Arclin is an aramid fiber. It is a pre-colored form designed to provide color during the manufacturing process, overcoming the natural bright ‘safety yellow’ color that is difficult to dye and enabling use where aesthetics or color-coding are required. It is used in specialized ropes and outdoor apparel.
