CUPND 50-ENF1

Supplied byUnited Initiators- Last Updated on Jun 27, 2013

Cumyl peroxyneodecanoate. It acts as an initiator (radical source) for the polymerization and co-polymerization in bulk or suspension of monomers, in particular vinyl chloride. It appears as a milky white emulsion, which is de-sensitized with water and has a molar mass of 306,4 g/mol. It provides particular advantages like non-oxidizing, liquid (therefore easy to dose) and high activity. A constant rate polymerization of over the entire reaction period can be achieved in combination with thermally more stable peroxides e.g. peroxydicarbonates.
