SILMAPROCESS AP2660 by Silma can be used as a processing aid to increase stability & trough output of the compound during extrusion or injection molding to enhance release & surface quality and reduce cycle time & torque.

• It is a masterbatch in granules of super high molecular weight functional polysiloxane added synergistic additive finely dispersed on polypropylene carrier.
• It gives a superior scratch & abrasion resistance on PP/TPO and TPE compound, also filled talc or glass fibers.
• It is suitable for various application fields like automotive interiors such as car interior parts, electrical appliance, home & office furnitures, building & construction and consumer goods.
• It is recommended for use in SEBS compound for the production of shoe soles and ergonomic hand grips applications.
• It is used at a dosage from 0.5% till 4% in extrusion or injection molding.
• If used as a processing aid suggested dosage is between 0.5% to 1% and when used to improve scratch & abrasion resistance from 1.5% to 4%.
• Addition of 2-3% to PP compounds with talc significantly improves the scratch resistance.
• The shelf life of SILMAPROCESS AP2660 is one year.
