SILMAPROCESS AL2660 by Silma is a highly concentrated masterbatch of super-high molecular weight functionalized polysiloxane, finely and synergistically dispersed on LLDPE carrier.

• It is used in halogen-free compounds as a processing aid, improving viscosity and homogeneity.
• It acts as a flame-retardant synergist (L.O.I.) and smoke suppressant, while also eliminating surface defects and die drool.
• It works as a slipping agent, external lubricant, and releasing agent during cable extrusion.
• It improves mechanical properties and surface quality of the finished goods.
• It reduces melt viscosity during compounding, enhancing throughput, stability, compound homogeneity.
• SILMAPROCESS AL2660 reduces THR (Total Heat Release) and PHRR (Peak Heat Release Rate) in halogen-free compounds and serves as a scratch and abrasion resistance enhancer in polyolefin and rubber compounds.
• The recommended dosage for the processing aid is 0.5-1%, while for extrusion or injection molding processes is 0.5-5%.
• It has a shelf life of one year.
