SILMAFLAME AP2020/F by Silma is a halogen-free, gas phase reactive flame retardant masterbatch based on organic phosphorus. It is heavy metals-free and does not contains any organic polybrominated or polychlorinated.
- It is suitable for a wide range of polyethylene and polypropylene applications like blow or cast films, fibers, electrical and electronics devices.
- It can be used in extrusion or injection molding.
- It is also suitable for outdoor apps.
- Its recommended dosage for use is 5-25% and able to comply with IEC 61386, UL94 V2/V0, and DIN 4102 Class B1 depending on polymer type and thickness, and has a glow-wire resistance of 850°C.
- t can be used in combination with other plastic additives like color masterbatches, antioxidants and stabilizers.
- SILMAFLAME AP2020/F has a shelf life of 1 year.
