Securoc® C10 by Sibelco Specialty Minerals is partially hydrated magnesium-calcium carbonate. Acts as a flame retardant. Also acts as an acid scavanger as it binds the very corrosive HCl formed in fire. It offers high electrical resistivity. Cost-effective compared to ATH/MH. Used successfully as replacement of ATH or antimony oxide in neoprene rubber and cable compounds. Also recommended for cable trays, wire and cable, flooring, rigid foam, wall coverings, electrical appliances, transformer insultaion, roofing and casting resins. Securoc® C10 is compatible with PP, PE, EVA, PVC, PA, TPO, epoxy and PUR. Classified as a non-dangerous substance (DSD and CLP).
